Coronavirus Affects Iphone Production Plan
The US tech giant has asked its suppliers, many of whom have manufacturing centres in China, to make up to 80 million iPhones in the first half of 2020, the Nikkei Asian Review reported, citing sources familiar with Apple’s plans. Apple has ordered up to 65 million old iPhones and a maximum of 15 million units of the latest models planned to be launched in March.
